Microchipping

Pets can slip a collar, but they can’t slip a microchip!

Imagine a world where every lost pet finds its way back home. That’s the peace of mind microchipping offers. At BC Pet Registry, we believe in keeping your furry family members safe and connected to you, no matter what.

When it comes to ensuring your pet’s safety, nothing beats the reliability of a registered microchip. Think of it as a permanent guardian angel for your furry friend. 🐾

Just about the size of a grain of rice, a microchip is a tiny yet powerful form of permanent ID. It’s a one-time procedure that offers your pet a lifetime of protection. Each microchip is unique, carrying an ID number that’s exclusively assigned to your pet, like a special code that says, ‘I belong.’

Once your pet’s microchip is registered with the BC Pet Registry, it becomes a key to their identity and your peace of mind. Anywhere in the province, if your adventurous companion ever strays, participating veterinarians and animal shelters can scan their microchip. This scan reveals their identity and leads them back to you, their loving guardian. It’s our way of ensuring that no matter where they wander, they always have a way back home to you.

When registered, a microchip is one of the most reliable forms of permanent identification (ID) for pets.

A microchip is a form of permanent ID that identifies your pet should they become lost. A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and provides your pet with lifetime protection. Each microchip has a unique ID number assigned only to your pet.

Once recorded in the BC Pet Registry, your pet’s microchip can be scanned by participating veterinarians and animal shelters anywhere in the province to verify their identity and guardian.
