CARE Network – BC’s 1st non-profit mobile vet clinic

The Coastal Animal Rescue & Education (CARE) Network is a registered non-profit, volunteer-based animal wellbeing organization that works to protect and enhance the quality of life of animals (and their families) in the rural & remote communities located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC.

Many animal rescues as well as rural and remote Indigenous communities share BC’s #1 pet problem: inadequate access to veterinary services. CARE Network is changing that by starting a unique, non-profit, mobile vet clinic that is serving animal rescues and under-served communities around Vancouver Island. Operating under the name Mission Pawsible, the amazing vet team have been spaying, neutering, microchipping, vaccinating and treating lots of cats and dogs in rural, remote and Indigenous communities and at animal rescues in the rural areas of Vancouver Island.

The BC Pet Registry is proud to announce that CARE is another proud recipient of the BC Pet Registry grant program. Microchips are donated to support this very important initiative.
